Abstract Submissions due March 31, 2023
The International Association for Reconciliation Studies (IARS) invites you to join the 4th annual global conference in Kibuye, Rwanda on August 1st to 5th, 2023.
Scholars of all disciplines relevant for Reconciliation Studies are invited to present papers to the following panels:
- Reconciliation Studies on and in Africa
- Reconciliation Studies on and in Rwanda
- Postcolonial and slavery studies and reconciliation
- Theories of Reconciliation
- Theologies of Reconciliation
- Ecology and Reconciliation
The deadline for Abstract submission is March 31, 2023. The papers should be in English, 5000 to 7000 words long, with a 200-word abstract. During the conference, papers shall be presented in person during 20-minute time slots. The best papers will be published in the peer-reviewed IARS Online Journal "Reconciliation Studies."
IARS is applying for funds to cover the stay in Rwanda for all panelists. Send your abstracts to Dr. Laura Villanueva at iars.callforpapers@gmail.com for consideration by the IARS committee.
